Luke Dowsett

Luke is currently studying his Master's of Music Therapy at the University of Melbourne. He completed a Bachelor of Contemporary Music Performance with JMC Academy in 2015.  

Luke began learning guitar at the age of nine and has spent the better part of the past decade writing, recording and releasing music under his own name, as well as writing music for Expedia’s online travel guides, where he enjoys exploring his passion for music technology and composition.

 

He has been teaching guitar, bass and ukulele since 2015, helping people of all skill levels and ages to build a passion for learning music. Through teaching, Luke discovered a strong passion for exploring music in its capacity to help others achieve independence and fulfil their personal goals.

 

Outside of work, Luke enjoys travelling and exploring new places, snorkelling, playing basketball and trying his hand at learning Spanish.
